Bishopgate MicroFinance Bank Limited (Thereafter referred to as “Bishopgate”) is a licensed and registered Micro Finance Bank. It was incorporated in 1991 under the trading name of Idi-Oro Community bank Limited which operated for a decade before it was recapitalized in the year 2008 and transformed into BishopGate Microfinance Bank Limited.
The focus of the Bank is provision of microfinance services to individuals, small and medium scale enterprises. Ultimately, the objective is to grow the Bank to a National Microfinance Bank.
The Bank engages broadly in the provision of Savings Products, Loan products and Tailored products based on the need of its customers.
